Property Market to See Big Purchase

A value of £125 million has been placed on the real estate assets of an ailing investment company, as a pair of Scottish millionaires are amongst the potential buyers for Dawnay Day.

The Melvilles - who netted a more than respectable fortune through the sale of their previous company - are just one of the potential bidding teams interested in the properties that will be available when Dawnay Day’s portfolio - valued in the 100s of millions range, is sold off later this month.

If it goes ahead, the purchase is likely to be managed by Denmore Investments, the company owned by the brothers, who are together worth around £75m.

Criterion Capital, owned by Asif Aziz, which already owns the Trocadero complex in the center of London, and Topland Group, the company launched by billionaire Sol Zakay, have also suggested that they’ll be bidding for some, or all, of the portfolio.

A derivatives position in their fund manager (F&C Assets) went through forced closure in July; Dawnay, Day immediately suffered, and have quickly found themselves in administration.

One of the company’s lenders made a margin call, leading to the sale, and a loss of £70m.

The company, and particularly it’s senior management team, have been known to avoid being in the public eye, instead letting the high-profile companies in which they invest receive the publicity.

After they first met in the eighties, the two men have successfully launched various funds - some were later made public, and are now traded though the stock exchange in London.

Paid Online Surveys - An Easy Way To Make Money At Home

Doing paid online surveys is a very easy way to make money at home. I’d rank this occupation as second in simplicity only to getting paid to autosurf - there simply cannot be anything easier than logging into a website and allowing advertisers’ websites to scroll across your computer screen - doing paid online surveys does take a little more effort but not too much and it is an enjoyable pastime.

I discovered paid online surveys by accident. I was actually using the Internet to search for a job and I had the idea of looking for work at home opportunities. It all seems a bit unreal when I look back - was there really a time when I didn’t know you could get paid for doing online surveys? In those days, the only surveys I knew about were the ones I occasionally received in the post and which would promise entry into a prize draw as a reward for taking the time to complete the survey. I never did win a prize but I built up quite a collection of free pens. Now I take it for granted that email invitations to take part in paid online surveys will turn up in my mailbox on a daily basis and (the important bit) that I will get paid for completing the surveys.

One great thing about paid online surveys is the fact that you don’t need any special skills to take part. As long as you have an Internet linked computer and an opinion, you are qualified. There are no right or wrong answers when it comes to surveys, the companies want to hear what you think, they don’t want to test your knowledge. Most questions will permit you to answer “don’t know” or “not sure”. Sometimes, you will be given multiple choices and asked to pick the closest to your viewpoint. The best survey companies without fail, try to make it easy for you to give meaningful answers.

Another great thing is that you can complete your paid online surveys at your leisure. When the invitation is sent to you, it will normally state a deadline for closure of the survey and, as long as you respond before the deadline, it does not matter when you complete the survey. As the majority of paid online surveys can be completed in 5-15 minutes, it is very easy to slot them here and there into your daily routine. You can easily do a short survey or two while you drink your morning coffee but, if you prefer, you can save up all your survey invitations and do them at midnight.

All sorts of companies, all over the world are spending a small fortune every year on advertising their products and services. In order to advertise as effectively as possible, these companies invest heavily in market research programmes to help them target their advertising. Market researchers also investigate what people might like or dislike about various products which are still in prelaunch.

Paid online surveys will quite often include a question about whether you would be prepared to test a sample of a product from their client. I’ve received free samples of a variety of things from chocolate, to facial soap to detergent tablets. These free samples are worth having because they are generous in quantity: they aren’t the mini free sample sizes you see given away in shops. I was quite surprised when I received a full size box of detergent tablets through the post. The fact that it was a new variety of my preferred brand was an added bonus, I only wish I could get to test chocolate more often.

Paid online survey companies make payment to their members by a variety of methods. Some pay instantly via PayPal, some by cheque, some with Amazon gift vouchers, some have a points system where you earn points which you save up and later trade in for products of your choice or for cash. There will also be some surveys where the reward will be entry into a draw for a large prize.

Generally speaking, the cash payments for taking part in paid online surveys are quite small but, as each survey takes only a short time to complete, you can do several each day and build up a steady income. If you want to earn a decent amount of money, you won’t do it by just joining a couple of paid online survey companies you need to sign up with a large number of them. The easiest way to do this is by joining one or more paid online survey database companies. For payment of a small one off fee, you will get access to a database of reputable paid online survey companies. Your membership will include regular industry updates and notification of any new additions to the online paid survey company database.

Another advantage of joining paid online survey companies by paying for access to a database, is that you will avoid the scam companies who are just out to harvest your details which they will then sell to anyone willing to pay. If you do a Google search for online paid surveys, you will undoubtedly notice many websites which offer a free list of survey companies and which advise that you should not pay to join a database when you can join free through their website. The owners of these websites are not philanthropists, they are affiliates for each company they list and they receive commission if you sign up through their link. They don’t care how much junk mail you will get!

I made the mistake of signing up to some paid online survey companies through a couple of these websites and I very soon noticed an increase in junk mail, unsolicited marketing phone calls and emails. I also noticed the poor quality of some of the “surveys” I was invited to complete. The worst company would regularly email me a message claiming they wanted me to take part in a $50 survey on movies. I answered pages of questions about my taste in cars, holiday destinations and various other unconnected subjects. Eventually, I would be informed that I was not suitable for the $50 movie survey. All I got for answering all those questions was mail and phone calls from people who seemed to think I wanted to buy a Mercedes, go on a cruise and buy all sorts of mobile phones.

If you are looking for an easy way to make money at home, I recommend paid online surveys as an excellent place to start but beware of the scammers. The small fee (which you can soon earn back) for access to a reputable database is well worthwhile both in terms of getting paid and in avoiding the nuisance of junk mail.

The Key To Making Money With Your Talent

So, how do you take your talent and turn it to gold? First, you need to do what a person with a good business talent would do. Research. Instead of just wanting to do things that you want to do, use your creativity to make things that people want buy. This is the most important thing that you can do to be successful at making money with your artistic ability.

The truth of the matter is that you do not have to be the best designer in the world to make a lot of money with your designs. You just have to make items that people want to buy. Sometimes things sell that just have a little different twist to them. Sometimes they are common items made into jewelry or furniture or usable art of any kind that people find interesting and buy.

We once exhibited at an artistic wholesale show in Philadelphia. The man in the booth across from us was being very successful at selling sterling silver pendants that he had made in the shape of leaves. They were not fancy, but they sold like hotcakes. Use your creative thinking to come up with ideas for products and then step back and analyze your ideas objectively.

Look around to see what is selling. Determine what people want. You can ask retailers and wholesalers about what items are selling the best. Styles and color preferences change so try to stay current with what is in style. Many designers believe that they can create the new “in” thing, but on a large scale, this takes a lot of money and influence. This does not mean that you can not make a lot of money with you products. Many designers make lots of money in their niche markets.

Research to find out what is being done. Use your creativity to come up with ways to do things a little differently. Sometimes small changes make the biggest difference. Radical changes are not usually accepted by the majority of the consumers. Contrary to the “be true to yourself” way of thinking, to make the most money, you have to appeal to as many people as possible.

John and Kay Jacobs have been successfully making and selling their own products for 15 years. They operate a booming internet business selling stone beads and pearls. Their experiences selling at wholesale and retail shows and on the internet gives them an excellent insight into successfully making and selling hand-made products.

The combination of Kay’s creativity and John’s logic has made them a Platinum Power Seller on eBay and one of the most respected sellers in their field. Now John is sharing the lessons that they have learned the hard way to help others succeed in making money from their hand-made products.

6 Powerful VRE(Virtual Real Estate) Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adse

Okay, it’s now time for the next installment of… “6 POWERFUL VRE(Virtual Real Estate) Business Models You Can Start Building In 2006 Using Google Adsense” series.

By now you should have a good idea of what Virtual Real Estate is and why it’s to your benefit that you start a network of your own VRE sites depending on the model you choose.

In the last installment of this series I covered “Article Directories”.

In this part of the VRE series I’m going to cover “Web Directories” in general and then give you some examples of what they might be and look like.

Sound good?

VRE Model #2. Web Directories.

An “Web Directory” is simply a directory on the World Wide Web that specializes in linking to other web sites and categorizing those links. Web Directory owners will often allow site owners to submit their site for inclusion. Then human editors will review their submission and if accepted, will be added to their database.

The one thing about Web Directories is they are often used as part of a website marketing strategy for being indexed in the major search engines like Yahoo!, Google, MSN to name a few.

The main strategy behind someone submitting there website to a directory is that a new site needs to quickly build inbound links from reputable sources. In doing this they will get a higher ranking within search engine results under there target keywords depending on the PR(popularity ranking) of that directory or inbound link.

That’s the basic run-down of what an Web Directories purpose is and why they make a great VRE business model.

Web Directories can be and target anything you want them to. It’s your directory, so you make the decision as to what it is about.

As your directory grows, so will its traffic.

And if you have targeted affiliate programs strategically placed on your directory along side your Google Adsense code, you could be making a nice, steady income form your directory like many others are right now.

Now… as I said at the beginning of this article I would give you some examples of some Web Directories with Google Adsense so you see for yourself whether or not this is something you want to venture into.

So, with that said, here are 3 directories that I think will give you a good idea of what to expect:

Free Stuff Directory:
All Free Things - http://www.allfreethings.com/

eBook Directory:
Wisdom eBooks - http://www.wisdomebooks.com/

Software Directory:
Software5 - http://www.software5.com/

Now remember, your Online Directory can be about anything you want. Your in control.

These are just some examples of whats out.

Did you happen to see the Google Adsense ads?

BINGO!

Also, pay special attention to where those Google Adsense ads are positioned because this is KEY to getting a good CTR(Click Through Rate) with your Google Adsense ads.

Now, at this point, it’s up to you to make the decision on whether or not this is the type of VRE business model you want to use and start.

I recommend you surf around and see whats out there with your interests in mind. By doing that you will be able to get some good idea’s as to what to expect and more importantly, model your directory and/or VRE sites from.

Well, that’s it for now.

Why do startups and small companies need to attend trade shows?

Many people who are running a one man show businesses or even a small business believe that exhibiting at a tradeshow is out of their league because of financial considerations, because the large companies have large marketing departments with large budgets, because a tradeshow booth is not affordable, because they just don’t have the vision on how to design a booth, how to transport and assemble one, how to work a tradeshow, etc.

Except for the budgetary considerations of actually renting space on the tradeshow floor, everything else is untrue. In this article, I will show you why are tradeshows so important. I am writing this from my own experience, as someone who worked on designing trade show booths, actually set up trade show displays, worked the tradeshow floors as an exhibitor and as a visitor.

Here are some of the reasons why it is important to attend and exhibit at trade shows, even if you are just starting your business or running a small company:

1. Get competitive intelligence

As an entrepreneur running a small company, it is very hard to get competitive intelligence, that is knowledge on how do you compare to your competitors, how do they do things, what makes them more successful that you or less successful than you. Don’t forget to put some focus on the less successful scenario also, because you also want to have a list of all the mistakes others make, so you can avoid them.

At a trade show, the easiest possible thing you can do is gather hands-on competitive intelligence. It really does not get more hands-on than that, as you have your competition at the tip of your finger. On the surface, they all seem to be extremely confident through their sales pitches and the flashiness of their marketing gimmicks, but they are in a tremendously vulnerable position, as they are giving everything they got and are also worried about *their* competition, which believe it or not… is you!

Take advantage of this incredible position. The best thing to do is to walk the trade show at the very beginning - that is, before everybody gets to know everybody among exhibitors - and ask questions, ask many, many questions.

Here are some of the things you can get from a simple walk around the exhibit hall:

- A four pound synopsis of your market that you can review at your leisure, from the comfort of your couch that most likely includes a sackful (literally) of literature on suppliers and distributors in your very targeted and unique field, the trade press.

- New market concepts.

- You can also have yourself put on mailing lists, participate in market surveys and earn complimentary subscriptions to a handful of journals.

- More coffee mugs, promotional mints, candy, pens, laminated business cards and free golf balls than you’ll ever need.

2. Learn about what your competition thinks about your product or service

Again, this is something to be done at the very beginning of a trade show and works best in larger exhibiting halls.

Introduce yourself as someone else, interested in the product or service offered by you and your competitors. This is a perfect time for you to use your flirting techniques. Get creative, remember you have nothing to lose, you’re in control and the ball is in your court.

Get a complete review of your competitor’s product line. You can then ask what they think of your company’s products and services. Since they don’t know who you really are, they’ll tell you what they really think. It’s actually quite enlightening to hear what your competition really says about you to prospects, remember you are acting as one of their prospects.

This is competitive research as its grittiest and the trade show floor is the best place for it. Studies show that companies are more eager to open up and talk about their competition at a trade show than in any other environment (sure you could just call, but you will not get the same effect).

At this point, if you are still reading this, you are probably wondering why, in the name of everything rational, I am talking about spying on your competition instead of the obvious reasons why trade shows exist, which is promoting a product or a service? Well, analysts and trade show gurus say that investigating the competition is what these shows are really about.

3. Meet your buyers

Show your product or service to people who are hyper-qualified as buyers. Why? Well, because these are the people who have gone through the trouble of attending the show and are really interested in your type of business. You also get to meet current and potential customers and get real feedback and a feel for how is your product or service perceived, how it is really performing and what you can do to make it better, that is, more appealing and more useful for your customers.

4. Meet the press

Meet with people from your industry’s trade press. They always attend those events and you will probably never get a better chance to speak one-on-one with the top editorial staff.

You also have a great opportunity to connect with distributors, with wholesalers, with brokers and others in your distribution channel.

5. Sell

You can also sell your product or service, right there, on the spot. Just make sure you have everything you need to do so in place.

Plan ahead and allow for the opportunity for serious business. Most people who come to your booth will be tire-kickers. They’ll grab a handful of pistachios, check out your promotional pens (or USB memory drives loaded with your marketing multimedia presentations - hint, hint), cherry pick your printed materials and move on to the next booth. But every once in a while, you’ll bag a live one. Know how and where you’ll talk to this person at length. Will it be a spot in the rear of the booth, a nearby conference room, a table in the concession area, a later meeting at your company suite? Folks, trust me on this, a wishy-washy “we’ll get back to you” attitude will lose the sale. You have to be prepared, if they see you are not ready to close the transaction right there, on the spot (even if in this day and age the trend continues to move away from on-the-spot order writing on trade show floors), they’ll leave.

6. Generate leads

This is actually the meat of attending a trade show - creating a follow up mailing list. This is what could (and should) potentially bring return on the major investment you made by attending the trade show. Whether you just collect business cards, write names down on a piece of paper or use the more modern trade show techniques such as scanning people’s tags, you must build your mailing list and actually follow up immediately after the show is over, while your marketing effort is still fresh in people’s minds.

It really makes a good second impression if you follow up promptly, whether by just a call or sending additional literature and information. Your handling of requests for additional information will show potential clients you value their time and provide quality customer service.

Your Salary Negotiation Guide

Almost all interviews end with salary negotiations. This almost invariably is an indication that the employer is seriously considering hiring you. But unfortunately, many brilliant job seekers, including experienced ones, stumble at this step. Not getting it right at this point can result in you ending up on the losing side.

You Can’t Negotiate Salary If…

The success in negotiating for a higher salary lies in understanding and rectifying the lacunae on your part. At the same time, it also depends on the employer’s financial standing and a host of other issues. Here are a few circumstances where you can’t negotiate salary successfully:

1. When you failed make a positive impression on the interviewer. This could happen for various reasons; one, you have not proven your ability to take on the responsibilities of the job successfully, and two, you are bright academically but the job requires more experience than you have.

2. A sense of entitlement will definitely ruin your chance for successful salary negotiations. An example: you demanded a manager’s salary while being interviewed for a supervisor’s position. Do your research and you won’t get the short end of the stick.

3. You are being hired as replacement for a departing employee. Again, the negotiation will have a limited scope. If you are filling a retiring worker’s position, in all likelihood, the company will be the ones to gain in the salary area.

Negotiating A Higher Salary In The Job Interview

All positions have a structured salary matrix, with each one having a range within which you can negotiate although there are some exceptions. Successful negotiations require some important qualities aside from technical knowledge. These are called “soft skills”.

1. Researching The Salary Strategy Of The Employer: Some employers advertise the salary they offer. When they don’t, research it by consulting HR professionals or employees of the company who are likely to have an idea and can also chip in with some tips. Many employers have long-term goals and may want to study you over time before increasing your salary. You must do exceedingly well to cross their strategical limits even though this might apply for only higher management positions.

2. Highlighting The Cost Benefit To The Company: Even though employers have done this exercise already, there could be points that might not have surfaced during the interview. Highlighting the benefits of hiring you at a particular salary may well turn out to be surprisingly beneficial for you.

3. Never Suggest A Figure: This can very likely backfire. By chance, if you ask for a lower salary than the company may be considering for you, without batting an eye, the employer will immediately adjust your salary. Wait for the employer to come up with a salary figure.

4. Make A Counter Offer: Negotiating is about revisiting the matter again. It doesn’t end the moment you both suggest a figure. Making a counter offer suggests to the employer that you have a willingness to accommodate certain limitations on their side.

5. Indicate Your Willingness To Accept Benefits: Since benefits are components of salary, you can’t be adamant on cash pay alone.

6. Discuss The Salary Offered: When the employer makes an offer, it is likely that he will have some cushion for negotiation. Don’t be afraid to ask for more money! The fact is, no company will throw out their highest, max figure first. Be mindful of this during negotiations, and you are likely to be successful.

My Work At Home Story

In November 2004, I sold my house and was ready to embark on a round the world trip of a lifetime. I didn’t want to have to do all those mundane jobs travelers do so I scoured the Internet for work at home opportunities. I joined SFI in the same month.

I attempted to start my own website promoting affiliate programs prior to joining SFI and had limited success. Under the guidance of my sponsor, Kevin Hass, I made a steady climb with my SFI business. Like most people I was skeptical about the program as I had been burnt before by Internet hype and scams. However, I’m not sure what it was with SFI, I just felt they had an honesty to them that I hadn’t found before. This was realized when after upgrading in my first month SFI sent me a commission check! It was small, in fact less than $4.00 but you know what, they sent it to me. (I was not 100% relying on this money to travel as the bus fair to the airport would have used my first SFI check!) This experience made me realize that if they actually took the time to organize that check, for such a small amount, they must be a legitimate company, and what’s more they had stuck to their promise!

Shortly after joining SFI, in January 2005 I was able to launch my own website: http://homebusiness-no1.ws. This was made possible through the Wealth Online Website (WOW) system. The guys at WOW set up my site for me within 48 hours and provided the web hosting for a very reasonable price. The WOW system enabled me to bring together 6 legitimate programs that would provide me with multiple streams of income. Having multiple streams of income is the only way to succeed: why do you think your supermarket now sells car insurance or loans? There are only so many tins of beans you can sell.

I am taking this opportunity head-on, and am slowly beginning to build the business that I’m confident with result in success. My sponsor, Kevin Hass, has been instrumental in all of my progression through the home business jungle, and I will aim to do the same for my team members.

I have learned a few very important things about home-based businesses:

1. If you want to be successful you must work your business and take action every day. If by upgrading you can earn more money, then upgrade, especially if that is how you will earn your money, by others upgrading!

2. Be patient. Sometimes it will be frustrating. It won’t happen overnight, but keep plugging away. It is almost a business certainty that any big business went through growing pains before it succeeded. Those that do succeed don’t give up.

3. Develop a plan! Every business needs a business plan. It seems that since we work from home most of us forget this. Spend time developing your home business plan, stick to your plan, and you will achieve your goals.

I will not pretend to be financially secure or even in a position where my WOW site can support me independently yet. But I already see the light at the end of the tunnel. This is definitely not a get rich quick scheme, but a legtimate business opportunity. Any business takes time to build and achieve your goals. The power of the Internet has changed many things but some of the business aspects are the same online and offline. The WOW system can help you achieve your goals, and as my results improve I am more and more glad I took action and joined! My traveling has been a great adventure, and so is my home business venture. They are complimenting each other, because as I travel I market my business to everyone I meet. My business is growing daily and my Internet business can be managed from anywhere in the World!

Absolute Internet Truth, from a Slant

You’ve heard it said the Internet provides a level playing field
for businesses.

What exactly does that mean, do you know?

Well, I’ll tell you. What it means is that you are literally as
good as what people perceive you to be. Now, that’s true offline
as well, but online there is less of you available to be
perceived.

For instance, there is no way to judge me by my looks through my
ezine. There’s no way to judge my wealth by my clothes, my
house, or my car either, since you can’t see them. Literally all
you have to go by is my words and what I do.

What a wonderful way to exist in the world, huh?

I mean, for all you know I’m running my business from the state
penitentiary by sneaking into the warden’s office at night and
last October when I disappeared for 4 days it was not because my
phone connection was out, but because I was sent to solitary
confinement for complaining a little too hard about that pile of
green lead shot the kitchen tried to pass off as peas.

Um, anyway. Of course, if I was in prison, I wouldn’t tell you.
That way, I could still appear to be an upstanding, trustworthy
individual you’d be happy to do business with. Instead, I’d just
present to you the perfect business man image, customized to
whatever that means to you, of course.

The other thing meant by the Internet being a level playing
field has to do with the fact that starting an Internet business
is inexpensive, especially when compared to traditional
business, and therefore open to anyone who wants to try their
hand at it.

Still, perhaps that whole idea is just a myth being perpetuated
by established online businesses that depend on new blood buying
into their ‘get rich now’ Internet marketing ebooks, courses,
and programs.

Not that I would tell you anything about that if it was true.
Not until after your credit card payment went through anyway.

One last thing that proves the Internet to be a level playing
field is that you can be your own boss and work your own hours.
It’s true also. You may never have sold a thing in your entire
life, but if you put CEO, President of Marketing, or Chief
Public Relations Officer by your name and the name of your
company, then that’s what you are.

Still, what was that old line about too many Chiefs and not
enough Indians? I don’t know. I mean the Chiefs play football
and the Indians are a baseball team, so how is that supposed to
make any sense? Oh yeah, there is more players on a football
squad than a baseball team isn’t there?

Honestly though, the Internet is a level playing field, if you
approach it from the right slant.

The truth about the Internet is this…

Well, I’d tell you, but if I sent complete, unadulterated truth
through an email it may cause the entire cyber structure to
collapse. Either that or the powers that be would just sensor it
and replace it with something generic, so you’ll just have to
call me instead.

It’s Your Home Business - Will it Sink or Swim?

Businesses fail for many different reasons. Here’s what you
should be thinking about so that your business is not one that
sinks, but one that swims and stays afloat!

If you’re looking at a new business, make up a business plan,
include your goals and financial projections. YOU need to know
more than anyone where you are headed. Your business plan
doesn’t have to be drawn up by a professional business planner,
you can do it yourself. Write down the hard costs of getting the
business started and maintained, including costs of licenses,
equipment, inventory etc. Don’t forget to include how much
income you will need to be bringing in, or have saved up until
you start to show a profit. Always have a Plan-B in place. Lack
of planning will have your business sinking in no time at all.

Business owners are generally “go-getters”, which means they are
usually hard workers. Staying disciplined, even for the hard
worker can be difficult at times, especially when there is no
boss or supervisor around to crack that whip and make you do
your work. Getting lazy and not being productive with your
business is a surefire way to sink it.

Here’s some tips to keep you on track and keep your business
afloat.

Daily “to do” lists are constant reminders that keep you on
track. They keep you motivated, and it feels good to cross
things off as you get things done. You need to have a sense of
accomplishment, and this helps serve that purpose.

Push your business to new heights every day by doing just a
little bit more than you need to. This will ensure that it will
SWIM.

Break up your day into segments; plan your day properly. Give
yourself a proper work time schedule and try to stick with it.
Even if you don’t work 9-5 anymore, pretend you do. Having your
own home business often means working more than eight hours a
day to turn a profit. Be prepared for that. That way you will
SWIM and not SINK.

Give yourself a proper lunch break. This will give you a routine
and give you something to look forward to. Reward yourself for
keeping up with your work. It will keep you positive and
motivated.

Post inspiring quotes and verses in your home business area.

Don’t allow friends and family to drop by and take up your time.
In the beginning, I had friends that thought because I worked
from home that I could sit around and chat with them all day
long… It’s amazing that they think this, but they do. Be firm
with them. My friends now know that they had better call before
they “pop in for a coffee”, and I do tell them “no” if it’s not
convenient. Lazing around watching TV or chatting with friends
is 100% guaranteed to help SINK your business.

Another time taker is the telephone. I screen my calls and let
the machine pick up almost all day, unless it is about business.
Caller ID was a super investment! It will help your business to
have Caller ID. I promise.

Mentally remind yourself from time to time that one of the
reasons your home business can fail is procrastination. The fear
of this should help keep your business on the right track.

I think you know what bad employees can do to a business; be
careful who represents you/works for you.

If you don’t have time to do your work and work your business,
it’s bound to SINK! Don’t let other aspects of life get in the
way. Sure the car needs washing, the laundry needs doing, the
house needs cleaning, you need to get other things done, but not
during business hours. The key here is to PRIORITIZE properly
and take your business seriously.

Try and get some daily exercise. It refreshes you and clears the
mind. It will help you stay positive. Plus, it’s good for you.

Network with other “successful people” who own a similar type of
business. If you are having trouble finding these people, try
your local Chamber of Commerce, or just contact other business
owners. Try to learn from people who have been successful; make
sure they’ve walked the walk before you take their advice.

Taking this advice will hopefully give you some ideas about
keeping your business afloat, swimming, and very successful.

Website income with an Adsense Alternative

Many webmasters have been using the Google Adsense program, with
great success to realize the full earning potential of their
website. For those of you who aren’t aware of what Pay Per Click
earning is all about, placing a small ad box or skyscraper on
your site by pasting code on to your website, allows you to earn
income when your visitors click on the relevent ads.

As many successful internet marketers and entreprenuers are
aware, the key to being successful on the ever changing
internet, is to diversify and adapt. Despite the success and
overwhelming popularity of adsense many webmasters do not like
to “put all there eggs in one basket” sort of speak, and choose
to have secondary streams of income on their sites. A great
adsense alternative is Chitika.com

Chitika offers all the same ad styles as adsense, displays ads
relevent to your content, and is just as user friendly. Another
bonus of the Chitika ppc system is that your account only has to
reach a $50 balance before you are sent a payment.

If you are looking for another stream of income for your
websites check out Chitika today.
