Orega, the serviced office provider which operates a business centre at Manchester’s Three Piccadilly Place is considering expanding its North West portfolio in response to the large increase in business performance across the region, and a rise in enquiries for flexible office space.

Orega is new to the region having just moved in last summer, but is already looking at opening further business centres across the region.

Joint managing director of Orega, Paul Finch, said that they are confident that with the increase in enquiries there is a large demand from North West businesses for desk space, which will work in their favour if the offices are in high profile locations and are easily accessible.

They have their eye on Three Piccadilly Place, which has long been viewed as one of the best business locations to have in Manchester. The building features 12 storeys and is opposite the Manchester Piccadilly railway station allowing for quick access to shops, amenities, and the airport.

Last summer Orega was one of the first occupiers of the Piccadilly Place scheme taking on 17,000 sq ft of office space on the eleventh floor and the ground floor of the executive business centre.

Already the company can boost the North West Joint Improvement Partnership as one of its serviced office clients. The healthcare agency occupies 16 workstations and complements another conventional tenant in the building, the NHS which holds two and a half floors on a flexible lease.

Orega’s regional sales manager, Jo Sexton, stated that the synergy between the occupiers in the building is excellent.

Many developers are developing workspace designed specifically for small creative businesses these days. One of such office complexes has been reopened around mid Wiltshire and Bath close to Bradford on Avon. It is near the site of a former glove factory in Holt.

They both wanted to create a building which had excellent transportation links to Bath but wanted it to have a link to heritage and a flavour of its own. They chose this building to develop it for small businesses who currently lack office space in the Bath area. The office complex will encourage innovation and creativity.
